International Scientific and Practical Conference «Biological Safety under Global Threats: Scientific and Technological Approaches to Counteraction»

JSC «National Holding QazBioPharm» will host the International Scientific and Practical Conference on the topic «Biological Safety under Global Threats: Scientific and Technological Approaches to Counteraction»

on 27–28 November 2025 in Astana. The event aims to address pressing issues of biological safety, facilitate the exchange of experience, and develop recommendations to strengthen biological security.

The Conference will serve as a platform for discussing current biological threats, sharing the results of scientific research and practical developments in the field of biological security, and fostering international cooperation in this area.

International experts, scientists, representatives of academic institutions, research centers, international organizations, government bodies, and industrial companies operating in the fields of biological security, public health, veterinary medicine, microbiology, pharmaceuticals, and related industries are invited to participate in the Conference.

The Conference will include breakout sessions covering key aspects of biological security, the development of scientific and technological solutions, and international collaboration:

• Session 1: Monitoring of the epidemiological and epizootic situation, external and priority internal sources of biological security threats.
• Session 2: Modern approaches to the development of diagnostic tools for detecting infectious disease pathogens.
• Session 3: Technological trends in the development of immunobiological products against infectious diseases.
• Session 4: Antimicrobial resistance challenges and possible solutions.

In addition, the programme will feature a science-based product exhibition, round table discussions, workshop, and networking sessions aimed at exchanging ideas and best practices to enhance biological security.
